I.T. - MIRARCO alliance expands region's
data management capabilities
In an effort
to accelerate the dissemination of spin-off benefits from various
R&D initiatives at Laurentian University, MIRARCO and BLAZE Information
Technology Inc. have joined forces to exploit opportunities created
by the Virtual Reality Laboratory, a state-of-the-art facility
designed for complex data interpretation in the mineral resource
industry.
As stated
by Ms Cathryn Nadjiwon, Blaze I.T. President & General Manager,
"We see great opportunity and potential for our company in this
strategic alliance with MIRARCO. By combining our expertise in
laser imaging and digital mapping with their skills in visualization,
and utilizing the resources available through CIMTEC, we can undertake
projects that would be beyond our individual capabilities."
