How to Apply to GRA

Experience the GRA advantage. Just follow these steps to apply:

  1. Choose a school to complete your course work. For course details and application guidelines visit the Laurentian University Mineral Resources Engineering site or the University of Alberta Geotechnical or Mining sites.
  2. Submit an application to the university of your choice, following the submission guidelines outlined through the links in step one.
  3. Write to the program coordinator that fits your research interests best. Include the following in your package:
  • Copy of your application to the School of Graduate Studies and Research at Laurentian University or the University of Alberta
  • One-page research proposal, indicating your preferred research topic and direction
  • Three supporting letters if you wish to be considered for a scholarship
  • Curriculum vitae with list of publications

    Once your application is received at GRA, your research proposal will be assessed and you will be contacted.
