Lorrie Fava Lindon
obtained a PhD in computer science from Queen’s University, Kingston, in 1996, with a thesis in parallel computing theory. In 1994 she began teaching in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Laurentian University, where she is currently an Adjunct Professor. She is working on the design and implementation of parallel algorithms for mine planning and scheduling.
